Crowd-funding best practice - tender

As crowd-funding is emerging in the creative sectors a pilot project to identify and analyse the different crowd-funding models currently applied in Europe was launched by the European Commission.

The goal is to publicise an overview of the best practice for crowd-funding in the cultural and creative sectors in Europe. It is aimed at projects in museums, archives and libraries, as well as those dealing with tangible and intangible cultural heritage, audiovisual media, and other projects in the visual and performing arts. The purpose of the study is to collect and analyse data in order to support the European Commission in the implementation of its political objectives regarding access to alternative sources of finance for small and medium-sized enterprises in the cultural and creative sectors and to provide case studies of good practice.

The invitation to tender is open until 24 August 2015 and can be viewed here.
